Metasurface hopefully provides a novel view of the warp and weft of contemporary visual culture, contemporary visuality, and issues pertaining to graphicacy. We would like to explore a host of issues - not just those pertaining to visual culture and communication - such as creative communities (the emphasis of my research), design culture, design education, art and design in rural America, teaching in higher education and host of corollary topics.
Jeez what's is it with all this comment spam lately!! I've been getting some too. Anyway love this entry it has a really nice narrative comic feel to it. Cheers A.W
Poignant illo...and I like what you had to write about it in your previous entries. Beyond me, how people are going to get past this...but it is possible.
Plus, I love the Napolian Dynomite icon...very cool.
This illustration really touched me. Its simple graphic style looks great, the blacks and greys set the tone, the row of ordinary quiet houses under the clear sky with a bright moon provides a contrast to the presumed "after" picture, and of course the words imply the emotion. Good job!
BTW, you should go to the comments section under settings and choose word verification. That will prevent these obnoxious autospammers from clogging up your comments. Just delete 'em!

ReplyDeleteI have a ceiling fan site/blog. It pretty much covers ceiling fan related stuff.
