We would like to explore a host of issues - not just those pertaining to visual culture and communication - such as creative communities (the emphasis of my research), design culture, design education, art and design in rural America, teaching in higher education and host of corollary topics.
Good grief! I needed a laugh and these two supplied it. No political party exists without a background level of shady dealings and corruption-- but I think the Republican strategist's attempt to dig herself out of a hole by naming Democrats is emblematic of a party struggling with a surplus of people who have gone so far off the deep end that even the moderates can't just fess up and acknowledge the mess. They'd save more face sticking to the ugly truth than trying to pin the tail on the Donkey, since they can't commit sepuku without courage and integrity :D
